Tennessee Hunting & Fishing

Tennessee runs from the Mississippi River bottomlands in the west to the Great Smoky Mountains in the east, and its hunting and fishing span that whole range. Hunting guides in Tennessee work the western farm country and river bottoms for whitetail deer and the famous West Tennessee duck hunting, while the eastern mountains hold black bear, deer, and wild turkey. Fishing in Tennessee is exceptionally diverse. Outfitters and fishing charters work the Tennessee River chain of lakes, including Kentucky Lake and Chickamauga, the latter famous for giant largemouth bass, while the cold tailwaters below the big dams hold trophy trout. East Tennessee mountain streams add wild trout, and the rivers hold smallmouth and catfish. With more reservoir shoreline than almost any state, Tennessee keeps anglers busy all year.
